Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 and White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki then became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. From 2005 to 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 and was the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for White House in the year 21 were fuelled by her appointment at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30 in 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end of.
